SMRRF 2026
7th & 8th March 2026
The Dalton Building, Manchester
The Sanjay Mortimer Foundation (SMF) is a charity dedicated to supporting neurodivergent young people in the fields of engineering and STEM. It was founded following the tragic loss of our dear friend, Sanjay Mortimer, co-founder of E3D and a visionary in the world of 3D printing. Sanjay’s achievements were not in spite of his neurodivergence, but because of it, and they continue to inspire others with your support.
Our Vision and Mission
SMRRF celebrates innovation, support neurodivergent talent, and showcases the future of 3D printing and STEM.

SMRRF 2026 brings together engineers, educators, creators, and industry leaders for two days of live demonstrations, family-friendly workshops, and community connection.

Together, in 2026, this incredible community helped raise over £113,000 for the Sanjay Mortimer Foundation, supporting neurodivergent young people pursuing opportunities in STEM.
What To Expect
Across two days in Manchester, engineers, educators, creators and industry leaders showcased cutting-edge 3D printing technology, shared knowledge and celebrated open innovation.

From community-led projects to global brands in additive manufacturing, SMRRF continues to be one of the most unique gatherings in the RepRap and maker ecosystem.
